Projects completed or in progress for 2012 so far

Establish new website, Done

Braai area flooding problem resolved, Done

Revamp gents bathroom, Done

New shower doors in ladies and gents, Done

Electric fence modified and working, Done

New water tanks fitted and working, Done

New water filter fitted to improve water quality, Done

New bore hole pump fitted, Done

Improvements to entrance on going

Groundsman is in place and working hard.

Dakar presentation, Done

Project which are being worked on right now.

All burglar bars being removed, sliding door fitted tomiddle front window, and new burglar bars fitted.

Removal of store inside and establish memorabilia area.

Fit 4m stack door facing tip area under consideration.

Revamp SX area for all to enjoy and establishendurocross, vmx area.

Rover Statement Regarding MSA/WOMZA

 

The various committees of the three separate Rover Clubs – Rover Main, Rover MX and Rover Enduro have met and deliberated in the interests of members and the following decisions have been made.

1.      Overall

None of the three Rover Clubs wish to become embroiled in the legal debate that is ongoing between Motorsport South Africa and WOMZA. The Rover committees are elected representatives of the three clubs’ members and as such, are duty-bound to effect decisions that reflect the sentiments and wishes of the respective members.

Vision for 2012

 

 

Rover starts 2012, with some huge challenges and decisions regarding MSA and WOMZA,  which will affect us all in some way or another.

While Rover is a tenacious club, and will prevail under the circumstances, we need to ensure our decisions, take is into the future, and into a better place, also ensuring the competitiveness for our up and coming riders, as well as the other champions we have. In essence, we need calm heads to prevail, and we will make the right decisions.

Rover will launch into 2012, with some great projects in the pipeline, and some which are already firing on all cylinders.
